English: Partial Russian text of the decree adopting the Gregorian calendar in Russia as published in Pravda 25 January 1918 (Julian) or 7 February 1918 (Gregorian).

The full text of the article:

Decree regarding the introduction of the Western European calendar in the Russian Republic.
In order to establish in Russia the same way of counting time as used by almost all civilized people, the Council of the People's Commissars decrees the introduction of the new calendar into lay [i.e., non-religious] use after the end of the month of January of this year. Accordingly:
1) The first day after 31 January of this year is to be counted not as the 1st of February, but as the 14th of February, the second day, counted as the 15th, and so on.
10) Until 1 July of this year one should write, after each date in the new calendar, the parenthesized date according to the calendar that has been in effect until now.
President of the Council of the People's Commissars V. Ulyanov (Lenin).
Assistant People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs Chicherin.
People's Commissars: Shlyapnikov, Petrovsky, Amosov, Obolensky.
Secretary of the Council of the People's Commissars Gorbunov.

Items (2)–(9) that were omitted from the Pravda article specify how salaries and dates of obligations that were to occur during 1–13 February (Julian) should be adjusted. ДЕКРЕТ "О ВВЕДЕНИИ ЗАПАДНО-ЕВРОПЕЙСКОГО КАЛЕНДАРЯ" (Decree "On the introduction of the Western European calendar") contains the complete Russian text of the decree.

Since the document was published before the Reforms of Russian orthography were finalized in late 1918, the "old" Russian spelling is still used.
